About the Proceedings

The volume contains selected, peer-reviewed papers from the International scientific-practical conference “Education in a Changing World: Global Challenges and National Priorities” (EdCW2020), 8-9 October 2020, Veliky Novgorod, Russian Federation.

The objective of the conference is to expand the interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation of scientists and practitioners in discussing the issues of the role of education and requirements to education in the context of global problems and challenges.

118 full papers were subjected to a double-blind review process and 92 full papers were accepted for publication. Conference focus on ongoing trends in the field of education, such as digitalization of education, psychological safety, continuity of education, professional retraining, distance education, changes in the status of a university teacher and school teacher, and many others. All these trends are present both at the global and national levels and need to be addressed.
