About the Proceedings

The volume contains selected, peer-reviewed papers from the Russian Language in Modern Scientific and Educational Environment (RLMSEE 2020), 28-29 October, 2020, Moscow, Russia.

The conference was devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Professor Serafima A. Khavronina, the legend of Russian language studies, world-known methodologist, the author of textbooks and manuals on Russian as a foreign language. Her manual “Russian in exercises” was republished more than 100 times in 20 languages. So, the conference brought together specialists in the Russian language and literature, teachers of Russian as a native, non-native and foreign language.

103 full papers were subjected to a double-blind review process and 70 full texts were accepted for publication. The thematic sections of the conferences included:

  • Theoretical and applied issues of Russian language studies
  • Theory and practice of teaching Russian in different linguistic and cultural spheres
  • Digital aids in learning and teaching languages
  • Russian word in the artistic text
  • Russian linguistic culture in globalisation
